The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following person be and he is hereby elected to the faculty:
• Mr. W. Preston Haupt as Lecturer in Engineering Technology, for one year, effective 1 September 1968, at a session salary of [OMITTED] plus 20 percent for summer work, or a total salary of [OMITTED]

On motion the meeting was then adjourned at 1:45 p.m.
