How small the gift it matters not
Given for the sake of Christ the Lord,
It cannot be by Christ forgot,
Or lose its infinite reward.
A cup of water shall procure
(Bestow'd for Jesu's sake alone)
Rivers of life, and raptures pure,
Which flow perennial from His throne.
