[Who would not dread the frown of Him]
Fear Him which is able to destroy both soul, &c.
—x. 28.
Who would not dread the frown of Him
Whose anger burns unquenchable,
Whose breath like a sulphureous stream,
Kindles, and blows the flames of hell!
Our God is a consuming fire,
And fastening on the sinful soul,
Destroys what never can expire
Long as eternal ages roll.
