CHAPTER IX. The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
212.
[Jesus, Thou seest Thy creature's pain]
Jesus, Thou seest Thy creature's pain,Thou hear'st me of my plague complain,
In every power and faculty
I feel, I feel my need of Thee:
Faint is my head and sick my heart;
But Thou the good Physician art,
And soon, I trust, Thy gracious skill
Shall all my soul-distempers heal.
