Sure Heav'ns unerring Voice decreed of oldThe fairest Sex should Europe's Balance hold;
As Great Eliza's Forces humbled Spain,
So France now stoops to Ann's superior Reign.
Thus tho' proud Jove with Thunder fills the Sky,
Yet in Astrea's Hands the fatal Scale does lie.
