Sell To All

From all of the letters that we have
recently received from male students indicating
that they were refused service at the
Women's Liberation table in Newcomb Hall
we feel constrained to call for a change in
their policies for literature distribution.

It appears that a number of students have
been unable to purchase literature on various
subjects related to the Women's Liberation
movement solely because of their sex.
Although we are in some sympathy with the
local leaders of the Leninist organization and
although the literature is so scarce that there
are not enough copies available for all of the
women now enrolled in the University, we
believe that they should be sold to anyone
who desires to purchase any copy, without
sexual discrimination.

Certainly there is a little hypocrisy here.
How can the movement preach against
discrimination on one hand and then employ
it against certain groups on the other? By
denying the male students the right to
purchase the materials even though some
might have attempted to purchase them for
reasons other than true interest in the subject,
the Women's Liberation group runs the risk of
alienating many males who might be in some
agreement and sympathy with their cause.

The women should sell to all or they
should not be given space in Newcomb Hall to
sell to any.
