Duke's quarterback, Leo Hart, feels the impact of Wahoo Defense stalwarts Paul Reid (60) and Tom Patton. Mr. Hart did manage to complete passes amassing 90 yards, but he was unfortunately detained by swarms of Cavaliers and never stayed in a vertical position long enough to see his potential bombs develop into dud firecrackers. The Wahoos can't rest on Saturday's laurels forever, however, and must defend their tenacious reputation against William and Mary this weekend. In the teams' last encounter, the Wahoos slipped by in a tight one, 1-1-13. Coach Blackburn would like a bit more of a margin this time, though W&M figures to challenge the newfound Cavalier image of "ACC contender".
