Grass Again

The following editorial is
reprinted for the benefit of those
who seem to have missed it in last
Friday's paper.

The condition of various areas of the
Grounds has been deplorable in the past few
years, due to construction, weather, and
perhaps a bit of mismanagement. The Lawn,
especially, has been in a condition far from its
normal verdant state for the past two years.

Finally, the B & G people have gotten
some grass to grow. It is not Astro-turf. It will
die if it is pounded daily by people going to
class. The Lawn is a source of beauty and joy
to all who behold it, with the possible
exception of a few misanthropes. We do not
want it to die. Please use the sidewalks.
