[A Fool, the popular proverb shows]
ESTO PERPETUA.
A Fool, the popular proverb shows,
And sure enough 'tis true,
Tells in a moment all he knows;
Ev'n let what will ensue.
And sure enough 'tis true,
Tells in a moment all he knows;
Ev'n let what will ensue.
Yet one equivalent he has got
For all defects this way:
He'll talk of that which he knows not,
Forever, and for aye!
