[Can we from the world conceal]

A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. —v. 14.

Can we from the world conceal
A church that's built on Thee?
Seated on Thy holy hill
They must the city see:
Pride may frown, and prudence chide,
Bid us keep our faith unknown;
Faith its light no more can hide
Than the meridian sun.
