Penda seide he dirste naught,ffor Cadwal & Osewy were al saught:
“But fonde i schal, by som queyntise,
“Of Cadwalyn to haue grauntise;

Þan fel hit at þe Whitsontyde,
Cadwalyn no lenger wolde byde;
At Londen set he his coronement.
