MISCELLANEOUS

THE COMPUTER Science
Center will offer an introductory
course in computer programming
for the B5500 beginning Oct. 1.
The course assumes no prior
knowledge of computers. Will be
held in the Gilmer Hall Aud. from
7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, 2, 4,
8, 9, and 10. There is no charge for
the course and registration is by
attendance at the first meeting. At
that time text books for the course
will be available for $5.

mixer for first year men, Friday,
Sept. 27, 8 p.m. in the Ballroom, N.
H. Girls from all surrounding
schools will attend. There will be a
limit of 350 tickets at $1.
Absolutely no alcoholic beverages
are allowed.

ANYONE who ordered season
tickets for the 68-69 Artists Series
may pick them up in the Director's
Office, 4th floor, N. H., Monday
through Friday, from 9 a.m. until 5
p.m.

GRADUATE AND
UNDERGRADUATE degree
candidates who have not made an
appointment for their 1969 Corks
and Curls picture should do now.
Appointments may be made by
calling the Corks and Curls office
between 2 and 5 p.m. Monday
September 30 through Wednesday,
October 2. The photographs will be
taken in room 4B of Newcomb
Hall. Medical School degree
candidates may have their pictures
taken Thursday, October 3, not
Saturday September 28, as
previously announced. These
pictures will be taken in the
Medical School.

THE DARKROOM in Newcomb
Hall will be open from 1—10:30
p.m. daily. Mr. David Skinner will
be available on Monday,
Wednesday, and Thursday this
week from 7:30 to 10:30 to issue
the privilege cards to those
interested in using the Darkroom.
After this week he will be available
on Mondays only.

THE 1633RD Civil Affairs
Group, which consists largely of
Army Reserve members from the
University, is interested in
contacting any University student
or faculty member who has had
active service in the Army and
desires to maintain his Reserve
Retirement Program. The Unit
meets on Wednesday nights in the
Army Reserve Center on Cherry
Avenue at 7:30 p.m. Interested
reservists should attend the meeting
on September 25 or call Professor
Alford at 296-1349.
