Sin enter'd by the eye, and made
Its way to Adam's heart;
Satan, who thus our sire betray'd,
On Jesus tries his art:
But vain the serpent's hope to move
The Son of God Most High,
Who built those glorious worlds above,
Who fills both earth and sky.
