And soft—in robes of variegated light,
Where blended tints of azure and of gold,
With many a silver clouding, forms a couch
In yonder sky, I see the train Parnassean,
With each the symbol of her magic sway,
(Still Fancy grac'd and Honour as their chief)
Sit in assemblage fair—Lo! now they spread
Their burnish'd pinions, by the air upborn;
And hark! what music from their vocal shell,
Floats on the downy bosom of the breeze:
