An Eagle once a Child aloft did bear,The Child secure, the Eagle most in fear.
Thus Cæsars Lions sport them with their Prey,
The Hare in their wide Mouth doth safely play.
Which then the greater Wonder shall be thought?
A mighty Power each to pass hath brought,
Jove did the first, the latter Cæsar wrought.
