Nyne tymes he made hys preyereWyþ softe wordes & symple chere,
Wiþ nyne knelynges byfore þe auter,
Als scheo was a god of power;
Nyne syþe he ȝede aboute,
& kiste þe auter, & gan hit loute.
þe milk þat he abouten bar,
In a fyr he caste hit þar;
