REPORT OF THE HOSPITAL ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE

The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the Hospital Accounts Committee be and it is hereby authorized to write off as bad debts and free service accounts listed on University of Virginia Hospital schedule numbers 419 through 430 for the months of August through November, 1981, totaling $7,423,559.06, and Blue Ridge Hospital Division schedule numbers 469 through 478 for the months of August through November, 1981 totaling $946,487.30 consisting of the following:
          

University of Virginia Hospital:
Bad Debts		$ 878,234.69
Free Service		$6,545,324.37

	Total	$7,423,559.06
Blue Ridge Hospital Division:
Bad Debts		- 0 -
Free Service		$946,487.30
		-------------
	Total	$946,487.30

• RESOLVED FURTHER, that the above action shall not be a compromise, settlement or discharge of the debts represented by such accounts.
