The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
1555.
[Thee Prince and Saviour we adore]
The counsel of peace shall be between them both.
—vi. 13.
Thee Prince and Saviour we adore
In both Thine offices,
Thy priestly and Thy kingly power
Conspire to seal our peace;
Thy blood hath bought, Thy grace maintains
Our blessings from above,
And where Thy praying Spirit reigns,
He fills a throne of love.
