At this time, to be GOD's Probationer
In his great Work, as others lately were,
He takes his turn; and peradventure, may
Attain a Pow'r as absolute as they;
That, what by them was wilfully neglected,
(And by a less Power cannot be effected)
May now be done. LORD! make him wise and strong,
To do what to his duty doth belong;
And mindful, that, his chiefest Obligations
Are, to be true to Thee, and to these Nations.
