TO DR. SCHOMBERG, Of BATH.
To Schomberg quoth Death, “I your Patient will have:”To Death replied Schomberg, “My Patient I'll save.”
Then Death seiz'd his arrow, the Doctor his pen,
And each wound the one gave, t'other heal'd it again;
'Till Death swore he never had met such defiance,
Since he and the College had been in alliance.
