THE COMPUTER Science
Center will offer an introductory
course in computer programming
for the B5300 beginning Oct. 1.
The course assumes no prior
knowledge of computers. Will be
held in the Gilmer Hall And, from
7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 1,
2, 4, 8, 9, and 10. There is no
charge for the course and
registration is by attendance at the
first meeting. At that time text
books for the course will be
available for $5.
C'VILLE DRAFT Opposition
invites all interested persons,
including students for a Democratic
Society to its first meeting on
Monday, Sept. 23 at 9 p.m., Room
4C, Newcomb Hall.
MEN WHO ENTER the
University with four years of high
school Latin must take both Latin
5 or 7 and Latin 6 or 8 to fulfill the
language requirement. They do not
fulfill it by taking Latin 6 or 8
only.
GRADUATE AND
UNDERGRADUATE degree
candidates who have not made an
appointment for their 1969 Corks
and Curls picture should do so now.
Appointments may be made by
calling the Corks and Curls office
between 2 and 5 p.m. today
through Friday. Times are available
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday,
September 30 through Wednesday,
October 2. The photographs will be
taken in room 4B of Newcomb
Hall. Medical School degree
candidates may have their pictures
taken Saturday, September 28, in

p.m. daily. Mr. David Skinner will
