The 170 voice Richmond Symphony Chorus will be in concert tonight at 8 p.m. at University Hall accompanied by the Richmond Symphony Orchestra. Feature will be "A Serenade to Music," by Ralph Vaughan Williams, with words by William Shakespeare, and "A German Requiem," by Johannes Brahms. This concert is promised to be a brilliant presentation, conducted by Jacques Houtman. Tickets are by series or $5 at the Main Desk in Newcomb Hall or at the door. Special group rates for glee clubs, high school groups, etc. are available by calling the Director's office in Newcomb Hall, 924-3329. It is suggested that all attending be early since those arriving late will be detained at the portals. The concert is a part of the Artists Series of the University Union, in conjunction with the McIntire Department of Music.
