[The Virgin drest vp in her Gallantry]

[_]

This poem accompanies the frontispiece.

The Virgin drest vp in her Gallantry
The glorious state o'th' soul doth signify
Before the Fall. Her outward Robes declare
Her inward Beauty was beyond compare
But naked stript, when satan did deceive her
And Hells wide jaws stood ready to receive her.
