Glowing in all its nocturnal splendor, the Rotunda stands as one of the University's most famous and most revered buildings on the Grounds. It serves as a constant reminder of the academic village envisioned by Mr. Jefferson in which the pursuit of intellectual achievements was foremost on the students minds. But on the lighter side, the Rotunda also serves as the site for the annual Restoration Ball.
