MOTIONS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSIONS

• The following motions were unanimously adopted by vote of all Visitors present:
• (a) That the Finance Committee and the Buildings and Grounds Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for discussion and consideration of the acquisition and use of real property for public purposes.
• (b) That the Buildings and Grounds Committee and the Finance Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session to discuss and consider the investing of public funds where competition and bargaining are involved, where if made public initially the University's financial interests would be adversely affected.
• (c) That the Educational Policy Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for the purpose of discussion and consideration of personnel matters involving the appointment, assignment, promotion, salaries and resignation of public employees.

• (d) That the Educational Policy Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for discussion of legal matters which are within the University's jurisdiction.
• (e) That the Finance Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for discussion of a legal matter which is within the University's jurisdiction.
• (f) That the Health Affairs Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for discussion of legal matters relating to the Health Services Foundation, which are within the University's jurisdiction.
• (g) That the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for the discussion of legal matters which are within the University's jurisdiction.

Following the adoption of these motions, the Board of Visitors meeting was recessed at 9:07 a.m.

The Board of Visitors reconvened in open session on Saturday, October 6, 1979, at 10:47 a.m.
