Despite yesterday's chilling temperatures, the radiant sunshine, which has become an unusual occurrence at the University, called a few premature Valentines to partake of the wonders of Mr. Jefferson's Lawn. The icy metal statue of Mr. Jefferson, himself, appears to oversee his University and serves as quite a contrast to the warmth displayed below.
