He thus reply'd: Sweet'st Madam still conclude,
My Carriage shall be far from Wanton, Rude;
Unsoyled prove; your Favor sought from thence;
Still kept, observ'd those Bounds of Reverence:
And yet defer that late condemning Voice
Of leaving you so soon; thought Fairer Choice
Sentence of Death Clermanthe setled now,
More quiet thoughts, thus spake with gentle brow
