The lack of labour mayms ye mind,
And wyt & Reason quyght exiles,
And Reason fled. Flames Fancy blind.
And Fancy she forthwith beguyles
The Sensles wighte that swiftly sails
Through deepest fluds of vyle exces.
Thus vice aboūds. Thus vertu quails
By meanes of drowsy Idlenes.
