The .xxxii. chapter treteth of the kingdome of Nauer, and of the naturall disposicyon of the people, and of theyr money and of theyr speche.
In the kyn[g]dome of Nauer I was brought vp,Where there is lytle meate to dyne or suppe;
Sardyns and bacon shall fynde the Spanyard and me,
Wyth suche meate we be contente in all our countre:
What wolde other men, other meate craue?
Such meate as we do eate, such shall they haue.
In my apparell I do kepe the olde raate;
The Fraunch men with me preforse be at baate,
Not now, but in olde tymes past;
For now our amyte is full fast.
