Wanted-A Real University.
Received-Blatant Prejudice.
We were very much impressed
with Mr. Bardenwerper's
commentary on the declining status
of the University. It is unfortunate
for Mr. Bardenwerper that he chose
to deviate from his apparent
purpose and take a sideways slap at
a much maligned minority
represented in the University
community and designated by Mr.
B. as "Waynesboroites." As two
representatives of this fair
community, we resent the bias so
clearly shown by one who cites
"Jokes, but not very funny ones."
So, Mr. Bardenwerper, give us
candor rather than slander from
your towering vantage point of
Waterford, Wisconsin.
