BFD Write-In

Dear Sir:

In Darkness of certain events
over the past few days in the
E-school we feel compelled to make
a few statements.

Our purpose in running was to
show that the E-school political
scene is totally meaningless. We did
not intend to get elected nor did we
intend to invalidate the election.
Our announced purpose was to run
as write-in candidates. For the mere
hell of it we also typed up elections
petitions and got the required 25
names (most of which knew we
were ineligible).

Then for added thrills we
submitted it to the S.C. office and
refused to pay the five dollar
candidate's fee. But this didn't stop
S.C., they put our names on the
ballot anyway - unknown to us
until election day. Then when the
shit hit the fan they decided to
declare the election null and void
because our names were on the
ballot - Catch-22.

But that fiasco notwithstanding
I think we made our point,
whatever that was. If the make-up
election were not held and no
"representatives" sent to S.C. the
only disappointed people would be
the candidates (sorry fellas) and the
3 political societies who spent over
a hundred dollars each (our bill was
$3.50, eat your hearts out!). It all
leads to the question of "So what?"
and of course the answer for that is
b.f.d.

As a final request of a now
defunct party we ask all toolies to
vote B.F.D. as write-ins if you too
feel that E-school politics are a
farce. Remember, if elected, we
cannot serve.
