All undergraduate students are
reminded that Article I, Section 2,
Paragraph 2 of the Student Motor
Vehicle Rules and Regulations
states that any vehicle owned or
operated by a University student
"must be registered by the owner
or custodian within 24 hours of the
time it is acquired or brought to the
University." If a student desires to
temporarily bring a motor vehicle
into the Charlottesville area, he
must still go through the same
procedures as if he were registering
it for the entire year. Stickers may
be obtained from the Department
of Security at any time.
Students are also reminded that
they must have attained at least a
2.0 grade point average in the last
academic session. No first-year men
or students on probation of any
kind may be granted car privileges.
This also applies for the Openings
Dance weekend.
