MISCELLANEOUS

No first-year undergraduate
student. Including transfer students,
enrolled in the University
may have a car at the University,
of operate a car already registered
with the University, for the
Openings Dance Weekend. All
other undergraduates may operate
a motor vehicle during the
Openings Dance Weekend provided
they have at least a 2.00
grade point average for the preceding
regular semester (not
Summer Session) and are not on
probation of any type. Undergraduates
holding scholarships
are eligible for car privileges during
the "big" weekends. Those
students who are eligible under
the above regulations may register
a car and secure a special
decal for the car in Office of the
Dean of the University on November
8, 9, 10. In registering his
motor vehicle, the student must
be able to list the license number
of the vehicle he will be driving.
A student may not register another
student's car. Cars may be
brought into Albemarle County
any time after 6 p.m. on Nov. 9,
and must be removed from the
County no later than 6 p.m.,
Sunday, Nov. 12. Failure to comply
fully with these regulations
will prohibit a student from obtaining
such privileges for the
next Big Dance Weekend.
