Homecoming?

For Virginia's favorite tailback
Frank Quayle, the game may be
some sort of homecoming, for he
has many friends and relatives who
will probably come to see him from
his nearby hometown of Garden
City.

Quayle seems ready both mentally
and physically for the ordeal
to come. A slight leg injury has
been overcome but the question
is whether Quayle will be able to
run effectively without the presence
of Bob Davis to worry opposing
defenses.

As of Thursday afternoon,
Coach Blackburn was still uncertain
who would be nominated
to pick up the quarterback slack,
saying only that both Stan Kemp
and Gene Arnette would see a lot
of action.
