FACULTY COMPENSATION PLAN AT GEORGE MASON COLLEGE
The following resolution was adopted:
- RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that, effective 1 September 1966, the faculty session salary scale for George Mason College, as shown below, be and it is hereby approved:
| Academic Rank | Normal Entrance Rate | Normal Increase Interval | Normal Amount of Increase |
| Professor | $ 10,000 | 2 Academic Years | $ 500 |
| Associate Professor | 8,200 | 2 Academic Years | 400 |
| Assistant Professor | 7,200 | 1 Academic Year | 300 |
| Instructor | 6,200 | 1 Academic Year | 200 |
| Junior Instructor | 5,400 | 1 Academic Year | 200 |
