REPORT OF THE HOSPITAL ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE

The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED that the Hospital Accounts Committee be and it is hereby authorized to write off as bad debts and free service accounts listed on University of Virginia Hospital schedule numbers 473 through 478, meetings for the months of March 24, 1983 and April 22, 1983 totaling $4,345,889.70 and Blue Ridge Hospital Division schedule numbers 522 through 531, meetings for the months of March 24, 1983 and April 22, 1983 totaling $329,057.34 consisting of the following:
              

University of Virginia Hospital:
Bad Debts		$1,124,238.00
Free Service		3,222,651.70

	Total	$4,346,889.70
Blue Ridge Hospital:

Bad Debts		$42,294.86
Free Service		54,491.58

• RESOLVED FURTHER, that the above action shall not be a compromise, settlement or discharge of the debts represented by such accounts.
