Epigram 11. Of translation.

I vnderstand or knowe no forraigne tongue,
But their translations I doe much admire:
Much art, much paines, much study doth belong,
And (at the least) regard should be their hyre.
But yet I would the French had held together,
And kept their pox, and not translate them hether.
