Epigram 10. Bacchus and Apollo.
The thigh-borne bastard of the thundring Ioue,(Whē mens inuentiōs are of wit most hollow)
He with his spitefull iuice their sprites doth mooue,
Vnto th' harmonious musicke of Apollo:
And in a word, I would haue all men know it,
He must drinke wine, that means to be a Poet.
