Sonet XXV.
Most glorious Love, and honourable Lord,My heart's the vowed servant of thy Word,
But I am weake, and as a tender Vine,
Shall fall, unpropt by that deare hand of thine:
Assist me therefore that I may fulfill
What thou commandst, and then command thy wil;
O leave thy Sacred Spirit in my brest,
As earnest of an everlasting Rest.
