Correction
In an editorial in our special orientation
issue for first-year men we suggested that the
only way someone could get rid of his meal
ticket for Contract Cafeteria (should he want
to) was to sell it to another student. Mr.
Bernard Fontana, director of Food Services,
has since informed us that to do so would be a
violation of the non-transferable term of the
ticket. Our apologies to Mr. Fontana for the
error and to any first-year men who wanted to
get rid of their meal tickets but who did not
turn them in on time because they thought
they would be able to sell them later.
