BRIDE.
Sonet. XXIII.
VVhen time shall ripen these her greene desires,And holy Love shal breathe her heav'nly fires
Into her Virgin brest, her heart shall be
As true to love, as I am true to thee:
O, when thy boundlesse bountie shall conjoyne
Her equall-glorious Majesty, with mine,
My ioyes are perfect, then, in sacred bands
Wedlocke shall couple our espoused hands.
