The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
1234.
[Afraid to think the vision true]
Then thou shalt see, and flow together, &c.
—lx. 5.
Afraid to think the vision true,
Thy heart with dubious joy shall beat,
Thy heart enlarged shall pant anew,
When forced the real bliss to' admit,
When hosts and fleets to thee resign
The fulness of the lands and floods,
And earth, and sea, and all is thine,
And thou art Christ's, and Christ is God's.
