Extra Practice

The trip has been arranged by
Coach Eliades, for ten years a
member of the Greek National
team, seven of them as undefeated
European pairs champion. The
coach noted that since eights are
less popular than small boats in
Greece, the team will have to have
extra workouts in singles, pairs and
fours to prepare for the Balkan
junket.

White in Greece, the Virginians
will be guests of the Greek
government and of the National
team. The trip should take three to
four weeks.
