Theft
We have heard of at least three courses for
which "A" papers left out after grading for
students to pick up have been removed by
someone else, presumably to enhance his
"poodah" file. Those papers are the property
of their authors until they are left in the
boxes, on the chair, etc., so long that the
professor finally throws them out. Anyone
other than the author or the professor who
removes them is doing no less than stealing
them, and is certainly guilty of an honor
offense.
