[Must we not walk before we run]
They shall mount up with wings as eagles, &c.
—xl. 31.
Must we not walk before we run,
And run before we fly,
From strength to strength go humbly on,
And labour up the sky?
The children walk in Christ, improve
To youths, and run their race,
The fathers soar with perfect love,
And see Him face to face.
