The Canadian-based rock group "Lighthouse" will perform in concert on the same program with John Mayall next Friday evening, March 20. The concert is sponsored by the Student Council and the student operated University radio station WUVA. Funds from the concert will be used to aid in the recruitment of black and economically deprived white students. "Lighthouse" is a fourteen piece group which features an excellent brass section and driving rhythm section. In their first major appearance in the U.S. "Lighthouse" was a spectacular success, and recently they played to a sell-out crowd at William and Mary College. Tickets are on sale for $2.75 at all the usual places.
