Questionnaire
The College Curriculum Evaluation Committee
has circulated a questionnaire to
faculty members and degree candidates as a
major source of information from which it
can make its decisions and recommendations.
The questionnaire is well-constructed and
takes only a few minutes to fill out. Its 20
questions involve matters of most concern to
students now, such as required courses,
comprehensive exams, curriculum flexibility,
specific degree requirements, etc. They are
amazingly comprehensive to be so few in
number.
We urge everyone who received the
questionnaire to complete it as well as he can
and to return it as soon as possible. The
committee must depend almost entirely on
opinion-input of this sort in making its
considerations. The more input it gets, and
the more through and accurate that is, the
more likely it is that the committee's
recommendations will be legitimate, constructive,
and reflective of the opinions of those
whom they affect.
