Following Carolina's kickoff,
the ball exchanged hands once before
the Tar Babies recorded their
second TD on the runback of an
rant Bill Ketunnen pass. As the
quarter ended, Wahoo hopes
looked dim. The Tar Babies had
ripped off 14 points with relative
case.

The Cavayearlings bounced back
spiritedly, however, Capitalizing
on a crucial fumble by North
Carolina at their own three yard
line, the Wahoos drove in for their
first score, with Andy Selfridge
going off tackle for the tally.
