[Bray'd in trouble's mortar I]
Bray a fool in a mortar, yet will not, &c.
—xxvii. 22.
Bray'd in trouble's mortar I
For half an age have been,
Yet myself I cannot fly,
Or disengage from sin:
What can heal this foolish heart,
Make me wise, and just, and good?
Me and sin for ever part?
A drop of Jesu's blood.
