The Siege of Sinope | ||
SCENE XIV.
ATHRIDATES.Behold his mein, where mixt with infant sweetness,
Dwells the commanding majesty of kings!
There might be danger. Such a radiant dawn
Portends a mid-day sun of dazzling lustre.
But all is well. Now tremble, proud Pharnaces.
The fates enclose them round; my soul exults,
And, raptur'd, hails the hour of great revenge.
